Week One:

Gather and Begin 

You’ve got your materials and you’re ready to begin!

Welcome, and thank you for jumping in! This week is all about getting your hands moving. We’ll make the accordions for the book, we’ll start getting to know the two colours that will star in it, and we will begin our journey of self-exploration.

There’s no right way to do any of this and nothing to get perfect. If something starts to feel like homework, put it down and come back later.

  1. Video 1 - Make a nested accordion book with Chandra

  2. Video 2 - Play with watercolour washes with Alex

  3. A PDF - Write about yourself with Sara

HOW MUCH TIME TO GIVE IT
Maybe an hour or two in total. Watch the videos at your own pace, pause as much as you like, and play along as you go.
