Welcome to my collection of resources to help support your eco printing. Most of these I created for my own use or for use during my ecoprinting and natural dyeing retreats. If you have suggestions for things that you’d love to see, please let me know!

Leaf Info Sheets
I love to take notes about each type of leaf I work with. I start with a little sketch of the leaf and some fun tidbits about the plant itself. This helps me understand the plant better. Then I make my notes below this basic information. I tend to include information like:
Where can I find this plant easily?
What colours does it produce?
Which side of the leaf do I prefer?
How does it respond to different blankets or dips?
How consistently does it produce results?
Fibre Log
I source my fibre from a wide variety of places. I’ve learned to do my best to keep track of it, as otherwise I struggle to know what I’ve got in front of me. I use a system of safety pins and tags and a log book. I fill in the log book as soon as I bring home the fibre (when the info is as fresh as it can be). I code each fibre with a ‘number’ so that I don’t have to write much on the tag, especially as I’m prone to purchasing cloth in bulk and then mordanting it in different ways. And the number follows the cloth as I move it through later stages.
